WHO WE ARE
Initiatives of Change (IofC) is a world-wide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behaviour, starting with their own.
Take a time to be silent to listen to the inner voice
Be a change what we wish to see in the world.
Let it go of our anger and hate. Are we ready to think for others needs ?
The heart of transformation lead us to build a Peace in the world.
What is Initiatives of Change (IofC)
IofC (Initiatives of Change, originally known as Moral Re-Armament (MRA)), started in 1938 in London as Oxford Group by the people who wanted to see the change in the society and in the world. They took their initiatives to change their own life to start with.
WHAT WE DO
Vision: a just, peaceful and sustainable world to which everyone, responding to the call of conscience, makes their unique contribution.
Mission: to inspire, equip and connect people to address world needs, starting with themselves. We work worldwide on many initiatives through a network of individuals, groups and organizations.
Beyond race, classes, gender, religion, nationality to build the bridges of trust.
IofC believes in absolute four moral standards. Those values are basic of all the nations, the religions and in the different cultures, known as the Absolute Moral standards of Honesty, Purity, Unselfishness and Love.
Checking our own motives, in our way of life with these four absolute moral values, we will know where we can be different ourselves. It will lead us to take an initiative to build a trust within the family, colleagues, in the society, countries and in the world.
As an international NGO with the recognition of the United Nations IofC is at work in over 60 countries today.
